How does Full Text Search works?

Abstract

Full text search is a technique for finding information in a document. PostgreSQL supports this type of search under the name “Full Text Search”. We will see all the operation of the FTS (parser, dictionaries, stemming …). Which kind of index to use? Then we will see how to create our own configuration to request a well known corpus: the entirety of Stackoverflow, a 135GB database!
